Subject:Proposed Fall Schedule!
Time:09:19 am
If all goes according to plan, this will be my Fall term class lineup;

LA 291 Designing Careers (no materials needed)
This introductory communications course focuses on industry research skills and resources, employment communications and strategies, and legal issues associated with the art and design workplace. The course will cover both employee-based and self-employment opportunities.

ILL 220 Clothed Figure Drawing 2 http://catalog.academyart.edu/courseMaterialsStandaloneView.dos?courseContent=16-1251
This course is a continuation of clothed figure study with greater emphasis on value. Students learn to see shapes and to use them in value to create patterns and develop a sense of staging. Students will also focus on drapery and the ways light affects the indication of form.

LA 243 History of American Illustration (no materials needed)
This is a comprehensive survey of the work of significant American illustrators of the twentieth century. Compositions are analyzed for their styles, trends and subject matter. The relationships between social conditions and styles are explored. Modern illustration is discussed in the context of historical awareness.

ILL 237 Illustration 2 http://catalog.academyart.edu/courseMaterialsStandaloneView.dos?courseContent=16-1787
In this course, emphasis is on the critical thinking needed for developing creative statements. Effective time and energy priorities are established. Students are introduced to watercolor and a wider variety of water-based media and surfaces. Acrylics are explored.

Phwew! They look GREAT! A super big THANKYOU for all the great people at Starbucks who said nice things about my work! And a huge SORRY for the poor lady I had to boot out of her chair. I was really nervous about displaying my art but you guys really made me glad I did. This is the FIRST TIME I have displayed my digital illustrations like this! (excluding merchandise) My work will be displayed for the month of May at one of the Medford Oregon Starbucks locations; 1303 Center Dr. Drop by to view the art, sip some coffee, and snag a free Krisgoat postcard!
